When my child said they wanted a drone as their birthday present, I inwardly groaned my disapproval. I was worried he would be flying it around the house getting it stuck in his sister’s hair while the neighborhood called the cops on some spying drone. I was a bit apprehensive to order him one at all, but I figured if he wanted it so badly that I needed to bite the bullet and get it for him. I took one look at the prices on drones and almost backed out immediately. Thankfully, I found this affordable GordVE RC Drone FPV Wifi RC Quadcopter 2.4GHz 6-Axis Gyro Remote Control Drone With Altitude Hold and Hand Launching-Black and I am actually really happy with how it has turned out. When the drone only cost $45, I couldn’t say no to my little boy.

This GordVE drone has everything a more expensive drone would have for the right price. You get 5 minutes of flight time, which is a little short, but it is made better because the charging time is only 50 minutes. The control distance is 260 feet, perfect for children and beginners. It has the altitude hold, hand launching, wifi, multiple speeds, and a propeller guard which helps in crashes. It has its own app, and it also can flip with the press of a button. Pros
This drone comes with some extra parts incase you mess something up in a crash. Considering I have a teenage boy, I knew something was going to break apart. The charging time is much faster than other drones I have seen, which is perfect for impatient children. It is a small drone, but it is still a lot of fun to fly. I love that the price is under $50. For the price, you’re not going to find a better drone.

I wish there was more space on the camera’s memory.
