Description

The Eagle-Gurney Westlake was one of the sleekest racers of its time and received its name from the vestigial eagle’s beak nose. Dan Gurney had his hand in the development of the intricate V12 engine, but the car never had its moment to soar ahead of the rest. Despite its good looks, the chassis design continued to be used in the American National Championship races through the early 70s.
