We’ve upgraded this licensed MINI with a leather seat and added a dashboard console and 2.4Ghz remote. So it’s now fun to drive AND up to date with MP3 port and FM radio. Plus, this one now has a bigger 12V 7ah battery (some similar mini versions have tiny 6 volt batteries), so the rider can choose to drive in low or high gear for longer periods. When operated by parent, there are actually 3 forward speed settings and since the remote is 2.4Ghz, there are no antennas to break and signals won’t get crossed.
You can steer it left/right and drive it forward/reverse with the remote and press “park” to bring it to a stop. Use it in low speed until they are used to the car and later on switch to faster speed once they are familiar with its operation. Some assembly is required, about 45-60 minutes.
